Born a Crime, Book Cover Redesign

Redesigned a book cover for Trevor Noah's biography, Born a Crime. It was important to me to highlight the strong bond between mother and son represented throughout the book. The bright colors of their clothing represent Trevor Noah’s happiness as described in the book, despite living in apartheid South Africa. It was my goal to better illustrate how Trevor Noah attempted to make the best of his situation and still managed to have a happy childhood.
