Janji offers me a unique position that allows me to participate in multiple areas of the company’s design process. From working on the product team, creating prints and graphics, styling the content shoots, to working on the marketing and web development teams, I now understand the ins and outs of what it takes to create sustainable apparel business. This has had a monumental impact on my outlook towards the design world and utilizing creative ability to make meaningful change.
La Sportiva x Janji Collab Shoe Design
As a Graphic Designer at Janji I took the lead in the Product design of Janji’s running shoe in collaboration with La Sportiva. The design for this shoe takes inspiration from our Fall/Winter ‘23 Hokkaido collection. The pattern on the shoe represents individual paths form a cohesive direction as an homage to the power of collective movement, the creation of mountains + the connection runners form with the landscape.
As Graphic Designer at Janji I own graphic and print development working closely with various artists across the world for our regionally inspired collections which are sold across the country.
UX Design
Janji is undergoing multiple simultaneous site reduxes. I am able to redesign entire pages on the janji.com site as well as implement features to enhance the current customer site experience. Our goal is to design mobile first by creating a seamless mobile experience to keep up with our ever-evolving clientele.
